XTool F1 Deluxe Bundle: The Perfect Laser For The Mobile Maker

From Concept to Reality: 3D Scanning and Printing Custom Tool Holders
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 lives in my shop apron because it’s the easiest way I’ve found to grab buttery‑smooth footage while I’m juggling tools, parts, and coffee. But after a few weeks of daily use I realized the camera’s true super‑power is its hackability: a single M4 thread and a USB‑C port are all you need to bolt on all kinds of maker‑grade upgrades.
Below are six 3D‑printed accessories I designed (and thoroughly stress‑tested around the shop) to make the Pocket 3 even more versatile.
1. Backpack/GoPro Mount
Snap the Pocket 3 to your shoulder strap for true POV shots—perfect for trail walks, tool demos, or toddler‑chasing. This print also doubles as a fantastic mount for other GoPro accessories such as the suction cup mount.

- Print orientation: on base, no supports

2. Rugged Protective Case
While the included cover is pretty protective of the camera. having a fully enclosed case, that isnt much larger than the stock protection is a great option.

- Print orientation: case halves vertical; 0.15 mm layer height for the latches
- Hardware: (4) M3 x 20mm screws

3. Simple Desk Stand
This simple stand allows you to place your Pocket 3 on a desktop while still allowing access to the USB C port on the back. This is especially useful using the camera as a webcam, or shooting from low angles where a tripod might be too high.

- Print orientation: flat on base; no supports
- Hardware: none

4. Dual Cold‑Shoe Adapter
This one really surprised me with it’s utility. This simple and quick print slides on to the bottom of the pocket 3 providing you a cold shoe mount on each side of the camera. I have found this useful for close talking head shots where I can mount my mic on the cold shoe and out of frame while still getting good audio. Similarly it’s also great for attaching a small LED light to illuminate nearby subjects.

- Print orientation: on base, print with tree supports.

5. Low‑Profile Gimbal Cover
This snap on cover provides additional protection to the case that comes with the pocket 3. This combination provides the smallest footprint, full protection for your camera.

- Print orientation: Print on back, no supports.
- Hardware: none

6. Ergonomic Grip Extension
If you use the Osmo Pocket 3, you know that it can be somewhat unforgiving to larger hands, even with the tripod adaptor in place. For that reason, I designed an extended grip to provide a larger grip area as well as extend your reach a bit. This grip slips over the end of the Tripod shoe for the Osmo, and has a hole through the bottom to securing attach it with a 1/4-20 screw for added security.

- Print orientation: File is pre-oriented
- Hardware: Optional 1/4-20 bolt/Screw to attach to tripod mount
